No. An online or in-person meeting is not required at the initial stage. Basic information can be submitted by email or Business WhatsApp. If necessary, an online meeting or an in-person meeting in Baghdad can be arranged at a later stage.

If you later proceed with certain legal, governmental, or administrative implementation services, additional documents, powers of attorney, certifications, or other formalities may be required depending on the nature of the service

These services are not automatically included in the legal assessment fee and are quoted separately.
No. One of the three assessment levels is specifically designed for foreign companies that are already operating in Iraq and wish to review their legal and operational position, compliance obligations, legal risks, and opportunities for expansion or growth.
No. Hamurabi Iraq’s assessments provide legal analysis, risk identification, practical recommendations, and proposed pathways. However, licences, approvals, exemptions, and other governmental decisions remain subject to the authority and discretion of the relevant Iraqi bodies. Commercial success cannot be guaranteed.
